Our lead instructor is Professor Paulo De Oliveira who trained in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and is an expert in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and in the real application of BJJ in self-defense from a lifetime of studying multiple martial arts, and a career in private security. He is a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with 22 years of experience and over 16 years experience as a BJJ educator.
